Hospitality Heroes is the Kitchen & Co Collective's consultancy arm, bringing hands-on hospitality expertise to venue owners, hoteliers, restaurateurs and publicans, from turning around an established business to launching a new one.

Established venues looking to improve profitability and performance, and new-to-market businesses planning a launch, including hotels, pubs, restaurants, event venues and food and drink brands.

Do you help struggling businesses turn around?

Yes. We work with hospitality businesses that are underperforming commercially, operationally or both. We can review the entire operation, including profitability, food and labour costs, pricing, menus, staffing structures, operational efficiency, customer experience, brand positioning and routes to revenue growth. From there, we develop a practical turnaround strategy, and where required we work alongside your team to implement the changes rather than simply delivering a set of recommendations.

Do you offer food styling and photography services?

Yes. We provide food styling and creative support for photography and filming across magazines, cookery books, websites, social media, advertising and promotional campaigns. We can work alongside your existing photographer or production team, or help coordinate the wider shoot.

Do you help develop new food products for retail or hospitality brands?

Yes. We support both hospitality and retail brands with new food product development, from initial concept through to market positioning, including product and menu development, market research, competitor analysis, consumer and dining trends, concept testing and commercial positioning.

How does a consultancy engagement work, and what does it cost?

Every consultancy engagement is bespoke and shaped around the specific challenge, objectives and scale of the business. We typically begin with an initial conversation before recommending the most appropriate scope of work: a focused strategic project, an operational or commercial review, or a longer-term engagement supporting implementation and growth. Consultancy fees typically start from £1,000 per day, with a tailored proposal and fee structure provided once we understand the scope.

We work with hospitality businesses across the UK and internationally. Our consultancy is not restricted by location, and we can support businesses through a combination of on-site and strategic consultancy. For international projects, the scope and delivery model are tailored to the location, scale and requirements of the business.
